BIOGRAPHY

Bojana’s primary focus is to create a visual translation of the invisible complexity of emotion sparked by an assortment of events and circumstances. In doing so she gains a deeper understanding of herself as well as humanity as a whole.  While her emotional insight is more prevalent in her abstractions, thoughtfulness is the foundation upon which she builds.  Bojana’s work is inspired by nature, spirituality, history, sociology, psychology, and physiology to name a few.  However, her personal life experiences are always intricately woven into her art.  Bojana intends for her work to expose and dissect the complex webs of life.

Bojana was born in former Yugoslavia and moved to the United States when she was 6 ½ years old. She has been a NJ resident ever since but has travelled the world.  Bojana currently resides in Sussex County.
